If you follow us on Instagram, you know it’s no secret that our kids love Star Wars. It wouldn’t be a normal day in the St Clair household without the Star Wars soundtrack playing on repeat … all day long. Or hearing the words “My name is Yoda” come out of our two year old’s mouth when we ask what her name is.
So when it came time to pick Halloween costumes this year, we let our tiny fans dress up as their favorite Star Wars characters. Our sweet Poppy didn’t have a choice but we just know if she was talking, she’d tell us that Chewbacca was at the top of her list. 😉
We searched high and low for a Jedi costume that Grey absolutely loved (he’s very picky when it comes to his costume selections) and we finally found the perfect one from Chasing Fireflies. The quality is amazing (it doesn’t feel cheap like most costumes and the attention to detail is perfect!)
We had a hard time finding a Princess Leia costume in Roux’s size and since we love and own so many iloveplum tutu’s, we thought it would be fun to put a modern twist on her costume using her iloveplum lucy tutu.
We found her Princess Leia hat from Gap. You can find it here.
I was feeling a little crafty and managed to make a super easy belt using silver faux leather and rhinestone jewels from JOANN Fabrics.
Poppy’s Chewbacca outfit is also from Gap but it looks like it is sold out. 🙁 If you’re wanting to purchase it, I would keep checking Gap’s site (they seem to restock items often).
We hope you enjoyed and we can’t wait to see all your kids’ Halloween costume selections this year!
